Chiller Plant Optimisation

The targeted chiller plant efficiency below 0.8 kW/RT after the retrofitting / optimization works.

Reduce the electricity usage 20% to 30% (depending to existing chiller plant efficiency).

The strategy of the optimization works:

• 1. Retrofit the chiller with High Performance chiller.
• 2. Installation Variable Speed Drive (VSD) to all pumps and cooling towers.
• 3. Installation of Pressure Independent Balancing Control Valve (PIBCV) at all AHU unit.
• 4. Installation chiller optimization / EMS system to improve the performance chiller plant.
