Net Energy Metering
The concept of NEM is that the energy produced from the installed solar PV system will be consumed first, and any excess will be exported to TNB on a “one-on-one” offset basis.
This scheme is applicable to all domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors as long as they are the customers of TNB.
The PV systems can be installed at available building rooftops or parking rooftops
Supply Agreement of Renewable Energy (SARE)
Customer will sign a tripartite SARE agreement with the Investor (Xenergi), Asset Owner (RPVI) and Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). The Supply Agreement of Renewable Energy (SARE) of Malaysia is a program that covers the related agreements and policies for the supplying and consuming of Renewable Energy (RE) in Malaysia.
